One of the main instructors at one of the city’s largest academies, Gracie Barra Westchase, Prof. Inacio Neto is no stranger to competition. Whether it’s on the IBJJF circuit or in organizations like Fight 2 Win, Neto is always eager to put it on the line and spends the majority of his time training for these moments.

He’ll be putting it on the line one more time when he takes on Corpus Christi’s Roger Narvaez as part of the black belt lineup at F2W103.

We spoke to Inacio Neto ahead of his next trip to the stage this Friday night at Fight 2 Win 103.

Hey Prof. Inacio, tell the fans a little bit about yourself.

Man, my life it’s very simple Lol… I teach around 25 classes a week, I like to stay loyal to my conditioning 2-3x week, Sunday’s I go to my church and my free time I like to spend with my wife and my dog.

What has jiujitsu done for you?

Jiu-Jitsu gave me direction, back time when I was finishing my college, I really didn’t know what I want to do. Always I had a dream to come to U.S and thanks God I managed to combine two things, to live in another country and live the Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle.

You’re a vet of Fight 2 Win and have fought for the org a few times. How does it feel to be doing it again?

Yes, I think this is my fifth fight and it’s always a good feeling to compete here, it’s good see my teammates cheering for me.

I like the challenge, makes me feel alive!!

How would you describe your style of BJJ to a fan who wants to know what to expect?

I will try to manage the fight on the way I will be control every second of the match… and for sure I’m looking forward for the victory with submission.

How are you preparing for your opponent? Anything specific?

On my training camp I just did my best as I always I do! Nothing special.

Any prediction on how this match will go?

Inácio Neto, the winner. 🙂

Do you have any message for your fans/coaches/sponsors/etc.?

I would like to say thanks to my sponsors, to my Gracie Barra Westchase family for the unconditional support and the most important think Thank you God to allowing me to do what I love.

Any last words before the match?

Thanks, Seth, for everything what you have been doing for the bjj community and thanks to help us bring our sport to another level. Osss
