The fighters worked hard strikes including a head kick from Schindler before they clinched and Schindler got a takedown. The fighters traded positions several times before getting back to standing. On the ground Cavan went from mount to back control in order to set in the fight winning RNC with the tapout coming at :39 of round two.

Adam Stroup vs. Todd Meredith in a 185 lb. professional fight. After several hard leg kicks from Meredith the fighters had an almost all striking round with Stroup able to control the clinch and drop Meredith. Several times Stroup landed a hard series of knees from the Thai clinch but each time Meredith was able to answer and try for takedowns to end the round. Round two was an all standing Muay Thai fight in 4 oz. gloves with each throwing hard, technical and precise strikes with both fighters able to hurt the other. However, each time one fighter was hurt he was able to pressure forward to remain in the fight. Round three was more very aggressive and hard striking from both with Meredith rolling once for a leg lock that was defended. After scrambling to standing the fighters again traded hard punches and kicks with Stroup working several times for a takedown that was always defended by Meredith.
